t was that time of  year again.  The Group of singles  set up to display the accomplishments they had done as a Group to advance the plight of the less fortunate in the community throughout the last twelve months.  The Civic Center Auditorium was filled to capacity by many different and diverse groups.  Everyone displayed their achievements of the year .

The singles Group set up and adorned the display tables with evidence and pictures of  all their accomplishments in helping the less fortunate.  Elvia, being a very spiritual person took a bible and its stand, which, without it the table would not have had a semblance of spirituality.  In addition to the bible and stand, Elvia took a beautiful potted plant, which Mario immediately christened Mathilda.  The plant is from the species

Dracaena and is commonly known as Dragon Tree.  His plant, however, is quite different than Elvia's.  In fact, where Elvia's plant is used to the richness of  well-mannered and expensive surroundings.  I mean, if you have ever been to Elvia's house, the inside looks like the Oval Blue Room of the White House.  You immediately notice all the expensive  artifacts and paintings by such famous artists as Van Gogh,  Domenikos Theotokopoulos, otherwise known as, El Greco.  She also has some  by Tintoretto, Michael Angelo, and even a Rembrandt.
